Genomic DNA Isolation Services

• Cells or tissues are grinded in liquid nitrogen
• Cells or tissues are lysed with Lysozyme, RNase A/T1, Proteinase K and SDS
• DNA is extracted with phenol; phenol: chloroform and dialyzed overnight in TE buffer (3-4 changes)
• A₂₆₀/A₂₈₀ ratio and agarose gel electrophoresis determines the purity of the DNA

RNA and mRNA Isolation Services
